Hi, I’m August Siciliano, owner and operator of Bell Acres Waste.
I started this business with a simple goal — to make waste and recycling pickup more convenient, reliable, and environmentally responsible for the community I live in.
I care about doing things the right way, which is why I work with trusted facilities like TC Recycling and Brunner Inc. to ensure recyclables are properly processed and waste is handled responsibly. Sustainability isn’t just part of the service — it’s the reason I built it.
At Bell Acres Waste, we provide curb-free and garage pickups designed around your convenience. Our focus is simple: make disposal easier, cleaner, and greener — without the headaches.
When you sign up, you’re not just another account — you’re a neighbor.
I take pride in being dependable, respecting every property, and helping keep our neighborhoods clean and sustainable.
Meet The Owner
At the end of every day all recyclables and waste are carefully sorted into their respective containers. We then transport the recyclables to TC Recycling, the top recycling sorting facility in Pittsburgh. Our mission is to ensure that your recyclables truly get sorted & recycled—not just dumped in a landfill.
Any remaining non-recyclable waste is hauled to Brunner Inc., where it is disposed of using sustainable practices with the environment in mind.
Where Does It Go?
TC Recycling has recently invested several million dollars into an advanced top of the line sorting and processing technologies. Their facility utilizes a "Green Machine" equipped with magnets, optical sorters, glass crushers, shakers, and blowers to efficiently separate materials. This investment enables the processing of 120 tons of recyclable materials per 8-hour shift, significantly reducing energy consumption and pollution. By enhancing recycling efficiency, TC Recycling helps decrease air and water pollution, as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
Joseph J. Brunner Landfill is dedicated to minimizing environmental impact through advanced pollution control technologies and sustainable practices that protect local ecosystems and contribute to a cleaner environment. The landfill utilizes a state-of-the-art Heartland Concentrator system powered by landfill gases. This system treats leachate—a toxic liquid formed when rainwater filters through waste, which can contaminate soil and groundwater—achieving over 95% reduction in volume and effectively processing more than 20,000 gallons daily with high reliability and low maintenance.
